Oppose AB 387 - Take Action Now!
The bill will be heard sometime in late April in the Assembly Appropriations Committee.
Please send a letter of OPPOSITION to your legislators and ask them to vote NO on this bill!
AB 387 (Thurmond) – This bill would expand the definition of “employer” to include a person who directly or indirectly, employs or exercises control over the wages, hours, or working conditions of a person engaged in a period of supervised work experience to satisfy requirements for licensure, registration, or certification as an allied health professional. We are very concerned about how these wage requirements could impact clinical placements should this bill pass.
