This Town Hall Meeting, hosted by the San Gabriel Valley District, is being held to get your input on issues of vital importance to your profession. Topics will include the role of PTs in diet and nutrition in regards to scope of practice and ethics. CPTA’s new public relations campaign will also be discussed. Join us for this interactive meeting. Bring your questions about any physical therapy topic. We encourage all physical therapy professionals to attend.

Mitchel Kaye, PT received his Bachelor of Science degree with a certificate in physical therapy at the University of Southern California. His work experience encompasses working as a staff and supervising physical therapist, a physical therapy consultant, a director of physical therapy at a hospital, an owner of a private practice, and a reviewer/coordinator of services for a work comp insurer. Currently Mitch serves as the Director of Quality Assurance for PTPN. Mitch has been an active member of the APTA since he was a student. Currently he serves on the Quality Practice Committee of the CPTA and as a Rep for GLAD. In 2011 Mitch was the recipient of the CPTA’s Clarence W. Hultgren Service Award.
Georgeanne Vlad, PT, MA is a graduate of Children’s Hospital Physical Therapy School and UCSB with a MA in Ergonomics. She has worked in academia for over 25 years on faculty at USC and Western University of Health Sciences teaching Ethics and Psychosocial Aspects of Healthcare. Georgeanne has served in the Assembly of Representatives for San Gabriel Valley for numerous years along with serving on the Nominating Committee. She also serves on CPTA’s Ethics committee and has presented at numerous Chapter Ethics Forums.
Lisa Yates is the founder of ACS Quantum Strategies (ACS). ACS is headquartered in Sacramento and specializes in strategic planning, public affairs, media relations and communications. ACS has worked with CPTA for many years and has been recognized in the Sacramento Business Journal’s list of top 25 Public Relations firms.
