Stephanie Kaplan, PT, DPT, ATP is the Hospital Administrator and Director of Rehabilitation at Casa Colina Hospitals and Centers for Rehabilitation in Pomona, CA. With over 19 years of clinical and leadership experience, Dr, Kaplan’s focus has been on treating persons with neurologic impairments, research on falls in the rehab setting and program development. She has experience implementing three electronic health record systems and reviewing charts for CMS audits. She is currently a member of the Payment Policy Committee of the CPTA and former Board Member for CPTA. Dr. Kaplan also serves as a CARF surveyor.
Mitchel Kaye, PT is a graduate of the University of Southern California Physical Therapy program. He has severed as the Director of Quality Assurance for PTPN, a national network of private practices, for the past 14 years. Mitch’s 28 years of clinical practice experience included working in acute care, outpatient and private practice settings. He also served as a full-time Medicare Consultant. Current Association activities include severing on both the CPTA Payment Policy Committee as well as on the CPTA Quality Practice Committee, he is an Assembly Rep for Greater Los Angeles District, he is a past CPTA Director, and has served on numerus committee for the APTA, CPTA, the Physical Therapy Board of California, the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy, and Noridian. Mitch is also a recipient of the CPTA Clarence W. Hultgren Service Award.
