Attend the 2018 CPTA Annual Conference with more than 1,100 fellow Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants who will gather at the Santa Clara Convention Center to exchange best practices and establish new strategies that will help elevate the profession.

This year's conference features two days of educational programming. Select from 25 educational sessions and join the discussion on the latest physical therapy best practices and learn from leading industry experts. Looking to network? Mix and mingle at the CAL-PT-FUND Barrels & Brews and the CAL-PT-PAC Dinner.

In addition, the Annual Conference Exhibit Hall showcases the latest products, platforms, and services helping to drive healthcare innovation and cost reduction forward.

Cancellation requests must be received in writing, and may be emailed to awiesemann@ccapta.org. Full refund less 20% administrative fee if cancellation is received by September 5, 2018. 50% refund if received by September 14, 2018. No refunds after September 14, 2018.

You can earn up to 15.5 Contact Hours (1.55 CEUs) for attending the CPTA's Annual Conference this year. There are 11.5 Contact Hours that can be earned by attending educational sessions and 4 Contact Hours that are earned for attending a conference sponsored by the CPTA (1399.94. Authorized Pathways for Obtaining Hours)


Add a Friday Pre-conference course* and you will earn an additional 8 Contact Hours (0.8 CEUs).
*Additional fees apply

Session evaluations must be completed to receive your CEUs.
Evaluations will be available online September 23 - December 31, 2018. They can be accessed online. There will be an email sent immediately following the close of conference with links to the evaluations. Once you have completed an evaluation, your certificate will be immediately available to download.  For CPTA members, your certificates will uploaded to your profile no later than one week after you complete your evaluation.

Conference Events & Activities

NEW This Year! 

The CAL-PT-FUND and CAL-PT-PAC are coming together for a once-in-a-lifetime "End Zone" event. Typically, the FUND’s annual Barrels & Brews and the PAC Dinner are held at separate locations, but this year, the two groups are hosting their individual events under one roof on Saturday, September 22 at the home of the San Francisco 49ers, LEVI STADIUM!


The evening will run from 5:30-9:00 pm. Attend both events and save $20 by purchasing a joint "End Zone" ticket for the entire evening for just $180! Come celebrate your profession at this unique and unbelievable event!


If you are unable to join us for the entire evening, tickets for each event can be purchased separately. Barrels & Brews will be from 5:30-7:00 pm and tickets are $50; the PAC Dinner will be from 7:00-9:00 pm and tickets are $150.

From San Francisco International Airport SFO (approximately 30 miles):
Take Highway 101 South to Great America Parkway and turn left. Hyatt Regency Santa Clara is located on the right at the corner of Tasman and Great America Parkway.

From North:
Take I-880 South and exit to Highway 237 West toward Mountain View. Turn left onto Great America Parkway. Hyatt and Convention Center are at the corner of Tasman and Great America Parkway.

From South:
Take I-880 North to Highway 101 North and exit at Great America Parkway. Turn right onto Great America Parkway. Hyatt and Convention Center are at the corner of Tasman and Great America Parkway.

From East:
Take I-5 South toward San Francisco / Los Angeles. Merge onto I-205 West toward I-580 / San Francisco; I-205 becomes I-580 West. Take the I-680 North exit toward Sacramento / San Jose, then merge onto I-680 South via the exit on the left toward San Jose. Take the Mission Boulevard West exit toward I-880 / Warm Springs District / UC Extension. Merge onto Mission Boulevard / CA-262 West, then merge onto I-880 South toward San Jose. Merge onto CA-237 West / Aliviso-Milipitas Road toward Mountain View. Take the Great America Parkway exit toward Lafayette Street, turn left onto Great America Parkway.
