Candidates Needed for CPTA Board and Nominating Committee
Each year, Chapter members are encouraged to submit nominations for qualified candidates to represent CPTA through a variety of leadership positions. Recommendations are presented to the Nominating Committee in the Spring, the slate of candidates is announced in the Summer, and members vote for their candidates in the Fall.
In the fall of 2020, members will elect a Vice President, two Directors, and two Nominating Committee members.

You can make a difference ... and your Association needs you! CPTA Nominating Committee needs you to nominate individuals or, perhaps, yourself for President, Director, Nominating Committee, and a Representative to the PTA Caucus. The CPTA Board consists of five officers and four directors that make and carry out the mandates and policies of CPTA as approved by the Assembly of Representatives. The PTA Caucus Representative is an active participant in our Chapter Delegation to APTA’s House of Delegates.

A slate of candidates is presented by the CPTA Nominating Committee to the Assembly of Representatives as provided in the Bylaws of the California Physical Therapy Association. Floor nominations are accepted at the Assembly of Representatives meeting on October 2. All Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist - Post Professional Student, Life Physical Therapist, Retired Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Life Physical Therapist Assistant, and Retired Physical Therapist Assistant members in good standing during the voting time frame are qualified to vote.
