Career Starter Dues Pilot

CPTA is participating in APTA’s Career Starter Dues Pilot. APTA will be testing an expanded career starter dues program, which establishes diminishing discounts over the course of four years for members who are in the first four years post-graduation. Eligible members began receiving renewal notices in January that reflected the national and California Chapter discounts for renewals effective April 2014 or later. The current program provides a 50% discount off national and chapter dues at the first renewal post-graduation. The pilot extends sliding discounts (40%, 30%, and 20%) for members 2-4 years post-graduation. To qualify, new graduates must have been an APTA student member at graduation and maintained continuous APTA membership post-graduation.
